When we visited Blists Hill Victorian Town in Ironbridge Gorge in August, Alice was driving the horse and cart through the town and she gave Timothy a wave each time she passed. When we returned in October we had to find her and say hello in person.
In the heavy rain on Saturday, the cart wasn’t running. We went back on Sunday morning before driving on to Berkswell Village (photos to follow), we finally found Alice – she yelled out “Doginabagdoginabagdoginabag!” when she saw Timothy.
The horses were going to start running at 13:30 but we had to stop off at a farm before leaving Ironbridge and get on to Berkswell Village before driving back to London, so couldn’t stay on at Blists Hill so long. We’ll have to go back, again!
