Rayners Lane in north west London is one of Timothy’s favourite places. He knows the way from the tube station to the butcher’s shop, and he pulls us along – not accepting any excuse for stopping along the way. Once he has delivered us to the front of the shop, he waits patiently for us to go in and buy some lamb so that he can have the bone.
It’s one of the few places he’s not bothered about his bag: he loves to sniff the kerbs and shops because there are lots of butchers, greengrocers, cake and takeaway shops and it’s always bustling – no matter if it’s daytime, evening or weekend. He briefly humoured us for today’s bag photo, but got out of his bag again straight afterwards.
