Timothy hung under the Dog & Pot sculpture: a memorial for Charles Dickens. This is a good lesson: “look up”. We hung here only because we saw a low fence, and a plaque on the floor saying something about Charles Dickens.
We didn’t read it, we just hung about and left. Looking up later, wondering “what has Southwark got to do with Charles Dickens?”, we see that the internet lights up about the Dog & Pot sculpture. Right above our heads – and we didn’t even notice it. Doh.
