It was a very nice day when we visited Llangollen.  The station is the start/finish point for a 10 mile preserved steam and diesel railway which runs through the summer and then most weekends through the rest of the year.

Now that we know it actually exists, we’ll time our return visit to be make the actual journey.  Any steam railway which allows dogs onboard must be encouraged.  Timothy is looking forward to it – dogs travel on a £1 ticket.
