The polished brass nameplate on the doctor’s surgery door says “Henry E. Davis – Physician & Surgeon”, but Henry is long gone and the surgery is just an exhibit at the Blists Hill Victorian Town museum in Ironbridge in Shropshire.
If you haven’t been before, Blists Hill Victorian Town is really really worth a trip. You’ll need at least an afternoon, and probably a whole day. It’s great for kids but even better for adults. It’s very dog friendly too, so add it to your list of places to visit!
