They’re rare to see, but they do exist: London has public water fountains on the street. In the few minutes we were near this one, we saw someone using it. Around it, in the busy City of London near Aldgate station, there are only expensive shops – so it is likely very much appreciated, especially in the summer, by many passers-by.
Timothy hung from the top of the brass tap fitting, but as he carries his own plastic tub of water, he didn’t need to use the fountain himself.
